The government of Israel has recently initiated a program for establishing gas pipelines into industrial zones, hospitals, gas station, etc.
Installation of electrical equipment in hazardous areas in Israel has to meet the requirements of the IEC 60079 Standard:
- Electrical and instrumentation equipment must meet the ATEX or UL standards.
- Establishment and maintenance of facilities in hazardous areas will be carried out by certified technicians.
- Examination by a certified engineer according to 60079-14.
- Periodic examination according to 60079-17.

For the last 35 years I am working in the field of electrical engineering for heavy and explosion-proof industries, consulting to gas powered facilities and to chemical and pharma industries.
I have graduated in electrical engineering (M.Sc.EE) in Tel-Aviv University, Israel. Also, authorized to grant LEVEL 2 authorization for examination of facilities in explosive environments from TÜV labs, Germany.
